How to Use Lavender:

 Lavender Oil can be used to help with relieving stress, body pains, fragrance for laundry or freshening up rooms, and repelling insects. Not much lavender oil is needed in most situations, with usually between 1-3 drops, with at most 5 drops for any given circumstance depending on what it is required for. Scentless carrier oils can be used with it to make the small amount of lavender be spread or used for longer.

~ Quick Lavender Stress Relief ~

  • 1-3 Drops of Lavender Oil
  • 1 Tbsp of Sweet Almond / Olive / Sunflower Oil
  • Optional additional essential oils (1-3 drops): Bergamot, Sandalwood, Chamomile, Black Pepper

Mixed together and massaged slowly across the neck, shoulders, lower back, cheeks, or wherever there is pain caused by stress, after a shower or before bed, to help in relieving stress and relaxing the body. 

Traditional Apothecary Uses of Lavender:

Lavender was often used when washing laundry as not only does it have a pleasant scent, but it also possesses antiseptic qualities but was also used to repel insects, which was highly important a time when humans often shared the same roof with flea and lice-ridden livestock.
